    Cindy Smith

    RN, BSHA - Chief Executive Officer

    11Mrs. Smith has more than fourteen years of management experience working with not-for-profit healthcare systems. She has extensive knowledge of nursing, public health, emergency preparedness, business planning, operations management and management control systems, contract administration, health economics, and financial reporting and analysis. Mrs. Smith s experience includes three years of service as the Community Health Center s Executive Director, seven years with Hill County Health Department as the Executive Director, and four years as the Charge Nurse in the Transitional Care Unit for Northern Montana Hospital.

    Mrs. Smith earned her Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration in August of 2009, attended the UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Executive Program in July of 2009, and earned her Associate's Degree in Nursing in May of 1996. Mrs. Smith is also a licensed Registered Nurse in Montana.

    In addition to Mrs. Smith's extensive experience, she is also an active system partner with the following organizations:

      Kyndra Hall

      Chief Financial Officer

      Kyndra graduated from Montana State University – Northern with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Technology with Accounting and Small Business Managements minors in 2000.  She went on to receive her Master’s in Business Administration Accounting from the University of Phoenix in 2007.  She received her status as an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service this past year.

      Prior to starting at Bullhook she was an accountant with Anderson ZurMuehlen/Hamilton Consulting Group for the past 15 years.  She is very involved in the community as a board member on the Boys and Girls Club, North Central Montana Relay for Life and the Hi-Line Chapter of ABATE.  She is also actively involved with the Havre Elementary Parent Teacher Organization and the Havre Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors committee. 

        Megan A. Evans, M.D.

        QI Physician/Chief Medical Officer

        Megan Evans, MD graduated with a B.S. in biochemistry with the highest honors from Montana State University –Bozeman. She earned her M.D. from the University of Colorado, Denver School of Medicine and completed her training as Chief Resident at Montana Family Medicine. Dr. Evans is committed to rural and underserved health care.

            Dr. Dee Althouse

            Lead Physician, Medical Doctor

            Dr. Dee Althouse grew up in Ohio, and attended Medical School and completed her Residency in Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Ohio State University (and she will be an OSU Buckeye fan for life!). She moved to Montana in 2000, and worked at the Chippewa Cree Health Center on the Rocky Boys Reservation for the next 15 years.  She enjoys seeing a broad range of patients, of all ages, with special interests in Pediatric development and health, and chronic disease management of children and adults.  Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young children, reading, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors of Montana.

              Dr. Ron Tilgner

                  Suzanne Lockwood

                  Chief Behavioral Health Officer, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

                  Suzanne F. Lockwood is a Board Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist, PMHCNS-BC.  She holds and additional doctoral degree and has practiced as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the past 25 years in both inpatient and outpatient facilities.  She sees adolescents and adults for psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management and treatment planning with other providers in the Behavioral Health, Chemical Dependency, and Medical services.  She has developed a Medically Assisted Treatment program for those dealing with addiction issues and treats individuals with co-occurring illnesses.  While she grew up in the Midwest, she enjoys hiking, biking and camping in Big Sky Country.
