Kathryn Olson, FNP, PMHNP

Kathryn Olson, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, CMO, CBHO
Chief Behavioral Health Officer / Chief Medical Officer/ Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Katie started her nursing career over ten years ago as an Internal Medicine RN at the Cleveland Clinic, located in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Malone University in Ohio. She is certified as an FNP through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has a special interest in mental health nursing and completed her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP, a degree from the University of Michigan-Flint. Katie has worked at Bullhook Community Health Center for over 7 years and enjoys working in the community health center setting. She feels the community health center can offer a unique and comprehensive set of services to the Havre community and surrounding areas. Katie serves as both the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Behavioral Health Officer at Bullhook Community Health Center.

Michaela Whitmore, PA-C

Michaela Whitmore, PA-C, grew up in Augusta, MT on her family’s ranch. She received a B.S. of Biology from MSUN, and then attended the University of Washington MEDEX program for her Masters in Clinical Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She has lived in Havre since 2018, and enjoys rural medicine and assisting with the medical needs of the community. She and her husband have had a great time exploring the outdoors and getting involved in the community. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time shed hunting, hiking and anything outdoors with her husband and two rambunctious dogs.

Dee Althouse, MD

Dr. Dee Althouse grew up in Ohio, and attended Medical School and completed her Residency in Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Ohio State University (and she will be an OSU Buckeye fan for life!). She moved to Montana in 2000, and worked at the Chippewa Cree Health Center on the Rocky Boy Indian Reservation for the next 16 years, before joining Bullhook Community Health Center in 2016. She enjoys seeing a broad range of patients, of all ages, with special interests in pediatric development and health, and chronic disease management of children and adults. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their 2 teenagers (including driving the kids to their many activities), reading, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors of Montana.
Dental

Brandi McNamara

Brandi McNamara, RDH, LAP
Brandi McNamara helps patients improve their overall health by practicing good oral hygiene. A 2014 graduate of Montana State University, Great Falls College, Brandi has been with Bullhook Community Health Center since 2019. She enjoys working with the dental team helping patients have healthy, confident smiles. When she is not working, you’ll find Brandy outdoors hunting, fishing, gardening and being with her dog and horses. She also enjoys crafting and spending time with her husband and family.

Raelynn Howard

Raelynn Howard, RDH
Raelynn Howard wants patients to feel comfortable in a dental setting, and she works with patients to educate them on the importance of oral health. A graduate of Sheridan College, Raelyn earned an Associate of Applied Science-Dental Hygiene degree. She also received the prestigious Colgate STAR award for excellence and commitment to the hygiene profession. As a member of the Bullhook Community Health Center dental team, Raelynn enjoys being able to help patients improve their orgal hygiene in between regular checkups. In her spare time, Raelynn enjoys cycling classes and adventures with her two dogs and her fiancé, Jake.

Sandy Derry, LAC, NCACI, SAP

Sandy A. Derry, LAC, NCACI, SAP
Sandy has worked in the Behavioral Health field since 2005. She completed her undergraduate and Masters in Counselor Education degrees at MSU Northern. Additionally, Sandy completed her Licensed Addiction Counselor certification and became nationally certified as an Addition Professional prior to earning her DOT-SAP license. In her role, Sandy works with patients to find the source of their problems while providing tools and skills to assist individuals in changing destructive behaviors. She also refers patients and family members to community resources for in-patient treatment. Sandy is passionate about her work, wanting every person to be happy, healthy, and loved. Away from the clinic, Sandy enjoys upcycling vintage furniture, 80s music, and a good cup of coffee, preferably on the beach or in the mountains.

Hailey Breum, LAC

Hailey Breum, LAC
Hailey graduated Salutatorian from Stone Child College earning an associate degree in addiction studies and continues to pursue a degree in criminal justice. At Bullhook Community Health Center, Hailey performs Level 1 outpatient services for substance use disorders, and substance use disorder assessments, and refers and helps facilitate individuals to inpatient services when they need a higher level of care. She also facilitates various groups and classes. Hailey also works at the high school and middle school providing prevention and education of substance abuse classes with students. Hailey loves being able to see the growth in people who make a commitment to their health and healing. Outside of work, Hailey enjoys camping, riding motorcycles, traveling with her husband, and home renovation projects.

Terry Hanson, LCPC, BHS

Terry Hanson, LCPC, BHS
Terry Hanson, M.Ed., LCPC, graduated from Montana State University Northern in 1995 with a master’s degree in Counseling and Development. She has worked in various behavioral health settings including school and community-based services, clinical, and private practice. She is currently the Integrated Behavioral Consultant offering brief cognitive behavioral therapy to Bullhook Community Health Center patients to address both medical and behavioral health concerns. In addition, she provides consultation to health center providers and staff related to behavioral health questions. She enjoys spending time with family, spoiling grandchildren, and traveling with friends. Her hobbies include knitting and baking.
Pharmacy

Darin Miller, BS

Darin Miller, BS
Darin graduated from the University of Montana earning a BS in Pharmacy in 1998 and joined Bullhook Community Health Center in 2016. Darin is responsible for the overall operation of the Bullhook pharmacy, including supervision of staff, federal and state law compliance, and patient care. His work with all other managers and staff throughout the entire clinic is rewarding, and he appreciates being part of a patient’s journey to better health. Darin and his wife, Theresa, feel blessed to have four healthy and successful children. When away from the pharmacy, Darin enjoys smoking meats, making homemade salsa, and dilly beans.

Cindy Brandon, PharmD

Cindy Brandon, PharmD
Cindy received her undergraduate degree from MSU – Northern and her Pharm. D. from the University of Montana. She is passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients, and sees herself as part of a committed team at Bullhook Community Health Center. Cindy is also committed to her family, and enjoys watching her kids grow and participate in sports.
